For the past 10 years I have recorded hundreds of sessions and live concerts. I have provided recordings for every Glenbard West music department concert from 1999 through 2007. I have also done work with several local community bands and dozens of other groups and ensembles.
My name is Nick Bellezzo and I am the owner, operator and chief engineer of Bellezza Audio. I have been involved with recording and editing audio since I was 10 years old. I began recording professionally with my first digital multi-track recording studio when I was 16 and have also been employed as a live sound, audio and light technician beginning when I was a freshman in high school.
I have recorded almost every style of music in almost every type of setting. I have recorded bands in many different genres: rock, pop, blues, metal, acoustic, jazz, etc. I have recorded in studios all over Chicagoland, even temporarily converting non-studio spaces for recordings with stunning results.
Some of my achievements include audio consultation at various churches and public institutions, including installation of the recording studio at the Merit School of Music in Chicago. I also recorded, mixed and mastered Chicago blues legend Linsey Alexander's album "My Days are So Long" which was nominated for the "Best Blues Album of the Year" award at the 2007 Chicago Grammy's.
